Integral Zen

Day of Zen

Zen meditation is a great adventure in sitting still, in silence and spaciousness, experiencing your deepest nature.

In this Day of Zen, for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, senior monks in the White Plum lineage and dharma holders of Diane Musho Hamilton Roshi, will facilitate a generous space to turn your attention inward.

Allowing your body, breath, and mind to function harmoniously, you will be invited to encounter a vivid, natural intimacy with yourself and your life, both on and off the cushion.

Day of Zen includes posture and breath instruction for meditation, embodiment practice, Zen service, and a dharma talk and daisan (interview) with senior monks.

Inclusivity Statement

Dragon Heart Sangha strives to welcome everyone's full uniqueness. We study dharma together and practice for the liberation and benefit of all beings in all worlds.

We recognize the suffering inherent in separation and strive to better navigate our personal and collective biases inhibiting our expressions of a more welcoming community of practice.

These individual, social and cultural biases include but are not limited to gender, race, class, ethnic, religious, nationality, political, ideological.

However important it is to expand our skillfulness for galvanizing our fuller uniqueness as human beings, we also train rigorously to liberate ourselves from all limits of division and separation.
